I found this little place a while back when I went for a walk around the parks of Melbourne. It sits on a beautiful, quiet corner of the Yarra River; an two-story, old-fashioned weather-board building with a balcony looking out to the Yarra River.Next to this is the fairfield park, which is huge with a couple of sport fields for a soccer or football match as well as great scenery for those who one to take it easy and go for a Sunday strode. For those who are a bit more adventurous, there are conoes and kayaks for hiring, which I believe is about $15 and ducks to be fed for 50 cents, just ask Bil. He loves it! With BBQ facilities here by, it is a great place for a relaxing day out.It is open for breafast, lunch and dinner as well as morning and afternoon tea.![]() ![]() |

I must admit the only thing we have tried at this place is the devonshire tea/coffee, but it is one very good scones. This coupled with homemade cream and jam, bring warmth to any Winter day. The cappuccino is not too bad, it is nice and strong, leaving the taste in your mouth. The tea, what can I say from a British establishment. |

Honestly I have no idea because my wife pays for it! hahaha… But it is a little pricey though it is not over-bearing, I think it will probably set you back about $10 for Devonshire tea with two scones. |

No problems here. You walk in to a counter, put your orders in and wait for the order to be made. Simple isn’t it? The service is quick and prompt, so there is no problems here. |
